15 Years of combined of workshop, sales, project management and design experience in a variety of heavy industry sectors such as materials handling, mining, recycling and most recently marine and offshore.
Previous employers include Denison Hydraulics, Parker Hannifin, Hagglunds Drives, Bosch Rexroth and most recently Electro Flow Controls Group.
Highly motivated and passionate apprentice trained hydraulic design engineer currently working on the design (including calculations) of large bespoke HPU’s (hydraulic power units) and HCU’s (Hydraulic Control Units) for the offshore oil and gas market.
High level of product knowledge including but not exclusive to hydraulic components, pumps, motors, valves, filtration, fluid connectors, coolers and accumulators. Also experienced with pneumatic products, specification, design and installation.
Bringing not only technical experience but also confidence, enthusiasm and product and personal pride representing the company. A quick study who can quickly pick things up and someone who is not afraid to ask questions or provide solutions as required.
I have the skills required lead motivate a multidiscipline team as well as work independently as required. Being able to run with a project from the initial RFQ stage to final installation and handover to the client. Having excellent interpersonal skills and experience of cross functional communication, working with challenging clients.
Able to produce and maintain all project documents from the initial quotation, drawings, LoC packages, parts lists and all other project related materials.
Highly computer literate with a great level of experience with all Microsoft packages, AutoCAD and a working knowledge of 3D design packages such as Inventor and Solidworks.
