2018 BFPA Economic Seminar proves a success

BFPA’s 2018 Economic Seminar was held this year at the superb AMTC building in Coventry on 10 October and was a very successful members’ only event.

Delegates were given a comprehensive update on the global and UK economic outlook by Oxford Economics including the latest five year fluid power forecast which BFPA commissions each year specifically for its members. Guest speakers included Terry Boniface of BEIS (providing an update on the Industrial Strategy) and Dr Lina Huertas of the MTC gave an overview of the HMV centres with an emphasis on the work being done at the excellent MTC in Coventry on R&D and apprenticeships.

Many delegates rounded off the day with tours of the impressive research facilities at the MTC.
