Hydraquip Kettering, a brand new 2,300 sq. foot premises located next to Junction 9 of the A14 has superb access links to the East Midlands with Corby, Kettering, Peterborough, Northampton & Leicester all within a 40 minute drive and with excellent road connections to the A1, M1 & M6.

The Hydraquip Group’s growth saw the opening of five new branches in 2016 in Cannock, Manchester, Bradford, Dundee and Aberdeen. There are further plans in the pipeline for additional branches during 2017 helping to strengthen Hydraquip’s position as the UK’s Largest Independent Provider of On Site Hose Repairs.

The team at Hydraquip Kettering is lead by Steve Tomkins who joined Hydraquip in 2014 and Gary Peskett from Pirtek Northampton who joined in June 2016. Between Steve and Gary they have over 20 years’ experience in the fluid power industry complemented by a growing team of time served hydraulic engineers in the area.

Tomkins stated: “to see the new branch become reality in such a short time period has been very exciting.” Tomkins added: “once customers see how well stocked the depot is and how easy it is to get here, why would they go elsewhere?”

With eight hydraulic hose engineers operating within the East Midlands, Hydraquip is continuing to grow its network of engineers to support the continued demands of its customers.

The new Kettering branch has a fully kitted hydraulic trade counter with experienced staff for an instant service to customers requiring a pattern hose assembly manufactured whilst they wait, with dedicated assembly production facilities which allow the branch to manufacture a one off hydraulic hose or high volumes of hydraulic hose assemblies. The branch offers a comprehensive range of over 50,000+ fluid power components including pneumatic components, industrial hose and fittings, hydraulic hose and fittings, quick release couplings, hose reels, tube, valves and pumps, with comprehensive stocks of hydraulic and engine oils, including oil dispensing equipment. Many of these items are available over the counter or delivered to you within 24 hours.

Hydraquip are on track to have 200 hose repair vans nationally by 2020. During 2017 the company will continue to focus on their ongoing network expansion plans and are actively seeking time served hydraulic hose engineers.
