UK Production Sales
CETOP made a successful application to Eurostat under Operation 2007, and a new class: 28.12 Manufacture of fluid power equipment has been created in the NACE and UK Standard Industrial Classification SIC 2007, which will come into effect in January 2009. Linked to the new SIC 2007 are the PRODCOM codes which are detailed 8 digit codes at specific product level, and for fluid power will now all belong to the same class and have the general format: 28 12 XX XX in the PRODCOM 2008 list. A BFPA recommended guide to the new fluid power PRODCOM codes and a correlation table between PRODCOM 2007 and PRODCOM 2008, are available to members on the Members Only pages of this website.
