I am an experienced Hose Integrity Management Manager/project coordinator, contract support engineer and project control/Planning manager in the oil and gas industry. I have also carried out flexible hose inspection surveys and risk based inspections offshore and onshore in the North Sea, Irish Sea, Israel, Azerbaijan, West Africa and in the Asia Pacific regions. Work Experience
Royalton Holdings Ltd – February 2018- Present –Division Manager (Oil & Gas)
I am employed as Division Manager for the Oil and Gas business unit within Royalton Holdings for the company group covering Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, UAE and Europe, I am based in Baku, Azerbaijan on a rotational basis of 4 x 4; My roles involves the provision of Hose Integrity Management activity, Flexible Hose and fittings Supply, Hydraulic Services, Offshore pedestal crane maintenance/projects and Work shop supervision and management for the Caspian region. My duties include Project Management, workshop design and layout, communication, Integrated Planning, Coordination, Team working, Inspection, Administration, Sales & Marketing, Expediting, Budgets and Cost Control, Procurement and leadership. I have line management responsibility for a number of workshop staff, office staff and onshore & offshore field technicians.
Hydroserv Caspian Ltd – September 2016- February 2018 –Hose Integrity Manager
I was employed as Hose Integrity Manager for the company group covering Azerbaijan & Kazakhstan; this involves the project management of hose management and offshore pedestal crane maintenance activity for the Caspian region. My duties included Project Management, communication, Planning, Coordination, Team working, Inspection, Administration, Expediting, Sales & Marketing, Procurement and leadership. I had line management responsibility for 5 offshore technicians and 3 onshore support staff.
EnerMech Ltd – September 2014- September 2016 –Cranes Contract Support Engineer (CSE)
I was employed as a Contract Support Engineer, acting as the client focal point for all aspects of the cranes and lifting maintenance contract for Total E&P UK Ltd. This includes planning, project management, project coordination and logistics management, SAP processing of this contract and the development of new business opportunities. I was also responsible for the management of 10 offshore pedestal cranes across 3 offshore platforms, with responsibility for the cranes core crew on each platform (21 in total). My time was split between the client headquarters and EnerMech Ltd.
Sparrows Offshore Services – September 2013- September 2014 – Contract Support Engineer
I was employed as a Contract Support Engineer, Acting as the client focal point for all aspects of the Cranes and Lifting contracts within the companies Africa region. This includes project management, project coordination and logistics management of these contacts and the development of new business opportunities in the Africa region.
EnerMech Ltd – October 2010- August 2013 – HIM Operations Manager/Lead Contract Support Engineer (CSE)
I was initially employed as project coordinator for the Hose Integrity Management team; this involved the project management of hose management activity for such clients as Talisman, Ensco, Wood Group, KCA Deutag, Diamond Drilling and Maersk Oil. I have also carried out offshore inspection surveys and audits in both the North Sea and global locations. In 2012 I was promoted to Operations Manager/Lead contract Support Engineer which involves total responsibility operationally for all hose management activity in the UK. I was also the HIM focal point for all crane hose management across numerous contracts (Crane & HIM) in the North Sea & globally. I had line management responsibility for 15 offshore technicians and 5 onshore support staff.
ContiTech Beattie Ltd – June 1999- October 2010 – HIM Team Leader/Manager
I was initially employed as planning and logistics engineer for the Hose Integrity Management department, this involved total project coordination and management of hose integrity management activity across 40 UKCS offshore assets and numerous locations globally. Clients included BP, Talisman, Ensco, Wood Group, CNR and BHP Billiton. I have also carried out offshore inspections, surveys and audits in both the North Sea and global locations. I was promoted to Team leader and eventually Manager of the business unit of the hose management department which involved the responsibility and line management of 25 offshore inspectors, 10 onshore office based personnel and total responsibility of the business unit. Through my training and experience I became a TA in both Hose Integrity Management & High Pressure Drilling Hose Assemblies (Recertification & Inspection services)
Moody International Ltd – March 1997 – June 1999 – Operations Coordinator
I was employed as Operations Coordinator; I was responsible for the project coordination of onshore inspection on 3rd party equipment packages for such clients as Wood Group, Subsea 7, Venture Production, Petrofac and DES Operations. My roles involved the preparation of inspection workpacks, the quality checking of inspection reports and close out certificates and attending client kick off and wash-up meetings.
