Profile:
Degree qualified Lead Hydraulics Engineer with over 15 years’ proven experience in the conceptual/detailed design, installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems for a range of heavy industries. The key strengths I have developed during my career are:-
• Strong design skills for engineering hydraulic solutions for bespoke mechanical equipment
• Excellent ability to carry out risk analysis of hydraulic and control systems in order to improve design, increase reliability and increase safety
• Strong participation within FMECA, HAZOP studies and design reviews
• Effective planning of workload to ensure projects are delivered on time to budget for projects and small departments
• Ability to recognise relevant areas of improvement and the creation of training plans
• Strong communicational skills with a proven ability to communicate well with customers, subcontractors and colleagues at all levels of a business
• Management of technical projects and departments
