BFPA Technical Conference on “Managing Fluid and Lubricant Contamination” 10 – 11 September 2018
The BFPA is pleased to announce a new International Conference on ‘Managing Fluid and Lubricant Contamination’ in September 2018 and is calling for abstracts of papers to be submitted on relevant topics.
The British Fluid Power Association and the University of Bath, Centre for Power Transmission and Motion Control are organising a week of conferences on aspects of fluid power and motion control in September 2018 – for more information please visit the dedicated conference website www.bfpatechnicalconference2018.co.uk
The BFPA is organising an international conference on:
Managing Fluid and Lubricant Contamination
to be held at the Centre for Power Transmission and Motion Control, Bath, England on 10 and 11 September, 2018.
This conference will confirm the importance of minimising hydraulic fluid and lubricant contamination and how recent developments may be changing our appreciation of what constitutes ‘cleanliness’.
The principal themes of the conference are:
• Contaminant formation
• Varnish – an increasing problem in major applications
• Developments in test methods for assessing fluid and lubricant cleanliness
• Changes to the classification of cleanliness
• The control of fluid cleanliness and contamination by air, water and particulates
• Case studies of problems associated with cleanliness and contamination
A table-top exhibition of products related to these themes will be held adjacent to the conference hall – please visit the website www.bfpatechnicalconference2018.co.uk or visit the web page
This event will be of value to all end users that need to maintain clean systems; those responsible for fluid and lubricant maintenance, filtration, and condition monitoring in a wide range of applications, and many lubricant and hydraulic fluid professionals.
The British Fluid Power Association would therefore like to invite experts in these fields to share their knowledge and submit an abstract (100-150 words) of a paper or presentation on the above topics or for companies to book space at the exhibition.
30 April 2018 Draft of paper/presentation
31 June 2018 Revision of paper (if necessary)
20 July 2018 Final version of paper
More information on programme details please visit the dedicated conference website www.bfpatechnicalconference2018.co.uk, or if you would like to book directly, please do so using the payment link above.
