Webtec Products Ltd designs, manufacturers and distributes fluid power products for the mobile and industrial machinery market. Webtec markets two principal product ranges, as well as designing and manufacturing products to customers' own specifications.
Webtec Hydraulic components - The Webtec range has been built around a variety of flow-control valves, including flow-dividers and similar types of auxiliary valves. Webtec has continued to design and develop these products and add complementary items from other manufacturers, which it believes are useful to its customers.
Webster hydraulic test equipment - The Webster portable hydraulic tester is now widely accepted as the industry standard allowing the user to measure flow, pressure, temperature and speed in one rugged unit. The Webster range has expanded over the years to include a full range of test equipment from a pressure test point to a hydraulic datalogger. Webtec also offers full service and calibration facilities.
Design engineering - Webtec is well placed to engineer and manufacture complete products to customers' own specifications; for example specialist valves and test equipment.
Webtec was founded in late 1964 and is now British controlled. A major part of Webtec's growth since 1970 has been due to its investment in CNC manufacturing. In addition to its own external sales engineers, Webtec is represented in the UK by DCA, The Fluid Power Partnership. Webtec has two subsidiaries, Webster Instruments in Milwaukee, USA and Webtec SARL in Cambrai, France. In addition, Webtec is represented in Dortmund, Germany by Webster Messtechnik and worldwide by distributors covering over 30 countries.
