It was established in 1968 and since then has attracted many major government and industrial contracts. The Fluid Power laboratory is equipped with an extensive range of test equipment and advanced computer facilities. The Centre offers the service of its staff for consultancy and research work, and a regular series of modular industrial courses in fluid power and related topics.
