BFPA announces the launch of new Strategy Teams

Following BFPA’s 2022 AGM in May, Paul Cooke, Interim CEO of the BFPA and John Farmer (President of the BFPA) announced the launch of the new BFPA Strategy Teams, and revealed BFPA’s updated Mission Statement as: Strengthening the fluid power industry. They confirmed BFPA’s six key “pillars” as follows:

Four new BFPA Strategy Teams, each consisting of six to ten people from across the BFPA membership were announced, covering:

• Education and Training
• Industry and Standards
• Health, Safety and the Environment
• Statistics

The Team Leads will be: Stuart Gardiner, Hydrasun Limited (lead for Health, Safety and Environment team), Dr Neal Milne, LANXESS Solutions UK Limited (lead for Industry and Standards team), Gary Fuller, Festo Limited (lead for Education and Training team) and Kevin Mooney, Moog Industrial Group (lead for Statistics team).

Team members will come from across the membership including (in addition to the above four member companies): Bachy Solentanche Limited, Bosch Rexroth Limited, C-Tec Fluid Power Limited, Flowtech Fluidpower Group, Fortress Safety, FPE Seals Limited, Gates Hydraulics, Hayley Group Limited, HEYPAC Limited, HUSCO International Partners LLP, HYDAC Technology Limited, Industrial and Marine Hydraulics Limited, Kawasaki Precision Machinery UK Limited, National Fluid Power Centre, Parker Hannifin Ltd, Sanders Hydraulics Limited, Schwer Fittings Limited and SMC UK.
