BFPA publishes new Minimum Educational Recommendations for the Fluid Power Industry – Electrical/Electronics Applied to Fluid Power Systems Control

05 Dec 2018

BFPA’s Education and Training Committee, which is made up of key industry players and training providers, is pleased to announce the publication of the third and final set of BFPA Minimum Educational Recommendations – Electrical and Electronics Applied to Fluid Power Systems Control.

The Association firmly believes that in today’s world of fluid power motion and control it is rare for hydraulics and pneumatics to be applied as a single technology as they now invariably encompass electrical/electronic control. Therefore the importance of introducing a minimum level of understanding for those involved in the maintenance and management of such systems is paramount.
The document, available to download free of charge from the BFPA website provides a platform from which new training courses may be developed or used as a benchmark for existing training courses by recognised providers around the UK.
