BFPA Welcomes United Hydraulics Ltd into Membership

30 Apr 2026

The BFPA is delighted to welcome United Hydraulics Ltd, an ambitious new startup business, into membership.

Founded by a timeserved mechanical engineer with extensive experience across hydraulic systems and field service, United Hydraulics Ltd was established with a clear purpose: to raise standards and deliver a level of service built on technical expertise, professionalism and pride in workmanship.

After many years working within the fluid power industry, the decision to launch United Hydraulics Ltd was driven by a desire to take full ownership of quality, reputation and longterm direction. The business is underpinned by strong values and a clear commitment to providing reliable, highquality hydraulic breakdown support and planned preventative maintenance, while being a trusted partner when critical failures occur.

Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, United Hydraulics Ltd has a focused vision for growth. Operating within a twohour service radius of Malpas, Cheshire, the company aims to become a recognised and respected engineering service provider across the Northwest. Its ambitions extend beyond mobile home repair, with plans to deliver complete engineering solutions for hydraulic component failures.

Future plans include establishing a consistently full order book before reinvesting into expansion. This will involve introducing additional mobile service units, recruiting and training skilled engineers to exacting standards, and ultimately operating from a dedicated engineering facility. Planned capabilities include cylinder repairs, in-house machining services and an expanded fleet of service vehicles, with longerterm ambitions to open a second UK depot.

Built on trust, performance and sustainable growth, United Hydraulics Ltd is laying strong foundations for the future.

The BFPA looks forward to supporting  Luke and United Hydraulics Ltd as it continues to grow its presence within the UK fluid power industry.
