Camozzi renews F3 motorsport sponsorship

27 Mar 2018

BFPA member Camozzi has renewed its sponsorship of F3 racing driver George Line for a second year, as he embarks upon a quest to regain the F3 Cup Championship title won in his debut season.

Following a challenging 2017 race programme which was beset with technical issues, George is now confident that he can regain the form that saw him become the championship trophy’s youngest ever winner. He commented: “I’m delighted that Camozzi has agreed to be my main sponsor for the second year in succession. Following last year’s frustrations, my team has worked hard over the winter to ensure that the car is in tip top condition and I’m really excited about the season ahead and setting my sights firmly on regaining the title.”

Camozzi managing director Adrian Farnham commented: “After a difficult year’s racing George is confident that he will once again find the form that brought him success in his inaugural year. We are delighted to sponsor him once again in recognition of his immense talent and determination.”

Camozzi is widely remembered as a major sponsor of the high profile McLaren F1 team back in the 1990’s, when driving legends including Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and Martin Brundle drove cars bearing the company’s distinctive black and red logo.

George has recorded some impressive lap times in pre-season testing and will commence his quest for F3 victory at his home circuit of Donnington Park on 21st-22nd April 2018.
