New beginnings,same direction

After twenty five years at the helm of respected fluid power component and solution supplier Camozzi Pneumatics Ltd, Managing Director Jeremy Clear is assuming the new position of Executive Chairman.

Originally known as AVS, Jeremy acquired the business back in 1991 and quickly realised the strength of Camozzi as a global name in industrial automation. In 1992 AVS became Camozzi Pneumatics Ltd.

Under Jeremy’s guidance the firm has grown steadily to become one of the most respected names in the UK pneumatics market, its position further compounded by the emergence of the Fluid Power Centre Group of Companies.

In addition to its extensive UK stock holding Camozzi is renowned in the industry for exceptional service and quick turnaround of both regular and non-standard product. The firm also boasts strong technical knowhow and sustained investment; factors that have been instrumental in the recent development of a hugely successful training facility.

Adrian Farnham, who has been with the company for the last 13 years, will take up the position of Managing Director. Having previously held a number of sales roles within the company, including a year spent at the company’s Italy based production facility, Adrian has a broad range of experience to bring to his new role.

Comments Adrian: “Jeremy has built a strong foundation upon which to continue Camozzi’s growth. I feel privileged to have been given this opportunity and look forward to taking the company forward as we introduce new fluid power solutions and expand further into new and niche markets.”

He adds: “Camozzi is staffed by a dedicated and knowledgeable team, many of whom have been with us for a long time and this is one of the major factors that will help us continue to grow and expand in this exciting and fast moving industry.”
