Reid Hydraulic Services Achieves Level 4 BFPA Hose Assemblies Scheme Approval

The British Fluid Power Association (BFPA) is delighted to announce that Reid Hydraulic Services (RHS) has achieved Level 4 Approval Status under the BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme — joining a select group of UK companies to attain this distinguished level of accreditation. 

Established in 1995, the BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme is the industry’s leading accreditation for hose manufacturing, assembly, distribution, and fittings. It provides a formal benchmark for safety, quality, and compliance in the storage, assembly, and supply of hose products across all sectors. 

To achieve and maintain approval, participating companies must comply with the BFPA Quality Control Procedures (D8) and undergo regular audits to ensure continued adherence to best practice. 

The recently introduced rating system within the scheme recognises members who demonstrate exceptional commitment to quality, safety, and compliance. Level 4 status represents the highest level of excellence within the BFPA framework — a true testament to RHS’s dedication to quality assurance and industry leadership.
