R&G Fluid Power Group Ltd acquires Lancashire Hose & Fittings

BFPDA member R&G Fluid Power Group Ltd has acquired Lancashire Hose & Fittings Ltd, a move that further solidifies R&G’s position in the UK Fluid Power industry and strengthens its hydraulics division in the North West.
Lancashire Hose & Fittings was formed in 2001 by Andrew Stanworth who has been working in the hydraulic industry since 1987. A family run business, where each and every customer is valued and not just seen as a number on a balance sheet. An ethos which mirrors that of R&G.
Andrew Stanworth explained – “Selling Lancashire hose and fittings after 21 years of putting my heart and soul into the business was not an easy decision to take, however, from my first meetings with Richard Davies and Scott Baker, I knew that this was the right course of action. I am excited for the future as part of the R&G Fluid Power Group and I am sure that we will go from strength to strength. I would like to also add a special thanks to Deb for all of her hard work and unwavering support over the last 21 years, she is now taking a much-deserved early retirement.”
Based in Bolton, the 5000 square foot depot and trade counter carries a huge stock of hydraulic and pneumatic parts, and is manned by friendly, qualified staff whose experience ensures that all operations are handled efficiently.
