The British Fluid Power Association (BFPA) is delighted to welcome Wendy Cox to the team as our new Business Operations Co-ordinator.

She began her career with Sainsbury’s, spending 15 years in a variety of operational, administrative and systems support roles, before moving on to deliver training programmes for Barclays Bank and VOSA. Her career has since spanned multiple sectors, including energy efficiency, HR, engineering, property consultancy and renewable energy, where she has developed a strong reputation for organisational excellence, customer service and business support. Throughout her career, Wendy has successfully supported complex projects, business operations and operational improvement initiatives across a diverse range of organisations

In her new role, Wendy will play a key part in supporting the BFPA’s operational activities, with a particular focus on the development and transformation of the Association’s market data services. Reliable market intelligence is increasingly important for businesses across the fluid power sector, helping members identify trends, benchmark performance, understand market conditions and make informed business decisions.

Working closely with members, Wendy will support the continued enhancement of the Association’s market data programme, helping to improve data collection processes, increase engagement and ensure that members receive high-quality insights that deliver real commercial value. As our strategy evolves, robust market intelligence is at the heart or our industry and remains a pivotal column of our strategy. Wendy’s experience in administration, systems support and customer service will be instrumental in driving this area forward.

Welcoming Wendy to the Association, Nigel Thomason, CEO of the BFPA, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Wendy to the BFPA team.
