BFPA holds COVID-19 Q&A Panel Session

22 May 2020

Throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic, the BFPA has been working hard to help members navigate their way through what have been unprecedented times. This help has taken many forms including a regular COVID-19 Bulletin, articles, signposting useful information, helping members take part in the PPE and ventilator challenge, lobbying government regarding continued working and key worker status and fielding numerous questions on everything from the new business support measures to HR and furloughing of staff. Not to mention a continual supply of market information to help members put their own experiences of the pandemic into context.

We know that members have appreciated this support and we would thank you for all of your kind messages.

On the 14th of May members took part in a COVID-19 Q&A panel session via the now infamous Zoom package! The event was a great success and we are indebted to Emma Armytage of First Call HR and Van Chavda from Questcover for acting as our panel experts. The ladies began the event by providing an over view of the latest developments on the day (recognising that they change by the hour), and then taking a selection of questions from those members in attendance. The session was planned to last about 55 minutes but with the demand from members and the kind co-operation of our panellists, the event actually went on for almost one and a half hours! Everyone considered it a great success and we are currently considering running a second similar event.
