CETOP Qualifications

The BFPA are active members of the European Committee for the Fluid Power Industry (CETOP) which prides itself on being the voice of the Fluid Power industry in Europe. Through our membership we are the appointed body to administer the CETOP qualifications in the UK. These are internationally recognised competence based qualifications designed around the three CETOP occupational levels in hydraulics, pneumatics and associated controls.

The National Fluid Power Centre in Worksop, Nottinghamshire and The National Oilwell Varco Training Centre in Montrose, Scotland are at present our approved training partners for the delivery of these courses. The NFPC delivers all three course levels (with Level 1 being the entry level) leading up to Level 3 in industrial and mobile hydraulics, along with the CETOP level one in pneumatics. The NOV are approved to deliver the CETOP hydraulics level 1.
