Early Notification of a new BFPA Business Support Service

20 Sep 2017

Chris Buxton, CEO of the BFPA, announces a forthcoming new enhancement the BFPA / BFPDA membership service offering.

As the sector trade association, BFPA are constantly seeking new ways to improve our membership service offering. The drivers behind these efforts are essentially two-fold. First and foremost, we need to continue in making the BFPA membership good value for money and secondly we must ensure that we develop services which improve the day-to-day businesses of both our current and potential members.

In meeting these objectives, I am pleased to provide readers with early notification of a forthcoming new membership service called the ‘BFPA Business Support Service’. Due to be launched in time for the 2018 New Year, the service will operate across four primary areas; Human Resources, Legal, Health & Safety and Tax.

Just staying on top of your core business operations can be challenging enough without the burden of having to manage these unwelcome but essential, non-core activities. The new BFPA Business service is targeted at easing much of that burden and will do so absolutely free of charge to BFPA and BFPDA members. Details are still being finalised but it is anticipated that members will have access to:-

A dedicated BFPA Business Advice Line – one number with four options

  • Covering HR/employment, health & safety, legal, tax and VAT
  • Free, Unlimited access for members (No time limits or maximum call frequency)
  • Experienced advisors offering practical advice
  • A dedicated phone number that only our members can use
  • A dedicated Business Service area on the BFPA website
  • Document library with 750+ free downloadable documents
  • A ‘My Account’ area
  • Free HR and H&S health checks
  • A BFPA Online Shop (as part of the existing facility)
  • A ‘Book a call back’ facility.
  • Service Handbook – a user guide to be sent direct to BFPA members

I am sure that you like me, you will come to regard this new service as one of the many core reasons for being a member of the BFPA; the only trade association dedicated to supporting and representing the best interests of the Fluid Power sector.

Watch-out for further details of this valuable new service as they emerge. Any members requiring immediate details should feel free to contact me at their convenience on 07787 400747.
