New BFPA refresher training course launched

20 Sep 2017

Many health and safety courses last for up to three years before a refresher is advised, and so in response to industry demand, BFPA has now launched a new refresher training course aimed at individuals who have previously completed the BFPA’s two day Hose Assembly Skills course.

The new one-day course, which was launched earlier in 2017 following extensive industry consultation, is recommended every three years. It is being offered either at a BFPA training venue or on-site and reaffirms BFPA’s ongoing commitment to raising and maintaining standards through training and education in the fluid power industry.

Martin Kingsbury, BFPA Membership and Training Director commented: “This new course brings our training in line with the industry norm and recognises good practice for refreshing skills after an appropriate length of time – in this case our industry experts believe three years is a reasonable time period after which training should be revisited.”
