Six member companies join BFPA’s Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme in 2022

We are pleased to report that since the start of 2022, six facilities have recently been inspected and passed their first audit and are the newest members of the BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme. Our warm congratulations go to:

About the BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme

The BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme was established in 1995 and is now the leading industry accreditation scheme for hose manufacturing and assembly, distribution and fitting. It sets a formal and credible standard for the assembly, storage and supply of hose across all sectors. The scheme aims to ensure that all companies displaying the ‘Q’ Approved logo are fully accredited distributors or manufacturers complying with the BFPA D8 (facilities) quality control procedures and certification requirements for the manufacture of flexible hose assemblies for fluid power.

By displaying the ‘Q’ for quality logo a company is demonstrating their intention to adopt only ‘best practice’ standards with regards to hydraulic hose safety (including , and to commit to having their employees trained to an industry standard which supports and ensures those ‘best practice’ control guidelines.

The scheme aims to encourage end users to fit only hoses complying with the requirements of the BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme.

There are currently 115 approved members of the scheme in locations across the United Kingdom.
