TRS Talent Retention Service for oil and gas sector

23 Jun 2017

The TRS programme was set up to promote the ‘attraction, development and retention’ of people and skills across UK manufacturing, engineering and technology industries, with a particular focus on supporting the ‘redeployment and recruitment’ of individuals who have been affected by reorganisation, closures or redundancy. The service is free to access and use.

TRS is a ‘not for profit’ programme initiated through Government and supported and led by employers such as Rolls-Royce plc, BAE Systems, Siemens, Airbus Group , EDF Energy, Boeing and Leonardo, together with other industry sponsors including: trade associations, professional institutions, universities, colleges and sector organisations.

In response to the downturn in the oil and gas sector, TRS have created a specific Oil and Gas portal on their website. The portal is progressively building with skilled engineers, technicians, science professionals from across a number of disciplines seeking employment as they leave the Oil and Gas industry.
