BFPA Economic Forecast Seminar – 11th October 2023

The 2023 BFPA Economic Forecast Seminar will take place on Wednesday 11th October 2023 at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (AMTC) in Ansty, Coventry. The main speaker will be Jeremy Leonard, Director of Industry Services, Oxford Economics, with supporting speakers Huw Sullivan and Cameron Blackwell of the MTC, and Roy McClarty of Hydrogen Vehicle Systems Limited.

Oxford Economics will present their latest five year forecast for the UK hydraulics and pneumatics provide an overview of the world economy and key trends for the industry sectors affecting fluid power, and present Oxford Economics’ latest 2023-2027 UK Fluid Power Forecast. Additional guest speakers presenting on the work being done at the MTC and Opportunities in the field of Hydrogen will follow, after which there will be lunch and tours of the MTC laboratories.

In addition, delegates will receive a copy of the slides from the presentations and free monthly economic updates for the following twelve months in the form of Oxford Economics’ “World Economic Prospects” monthly bulletin. (October 2023 to September 2024).
