Membership Application
Procedures for membership are simple, first your company must be a member of the BFPA or BFPDA to be eligible to join the Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme. On application to join the Scheme the company’s facility, procedures and practices are inspected and once successful awarded a Hose Accreditation Certificate and plaque to display.
Those who are awarded the ‘Q’ Approved logo must maintain the standards which resulted in their success and to ensure this remains constant companies are subject to inspection visits every two years along with annual checks to update machinery service records. Failure to conform to the required standards will result in the withholding of the accreditation certificate after inspection visits until actions have been completed or the removal from the Scheme altogether.
