BSI Survey on Awareness of Regulations

17 Jun 2021

BFPA and BFPA members have been invited to take part in a BSI survey on the new regulations which have come into place following Brexit. We would encourage you to reply to their short survey by following the link below in the letter sent to BFPA in June 2021. Many thanks.

Please contact Yvonne Pearman at yvonne@bfpa.co.uk if you have any questions regarding standards and BFPA’s involvement with the BSI.

June 2021

Dear Members,

Following the UK’s departure from the EU in 2020 and the end of the transition period on 1 January 2021, the UK laws that regulate the safety and performance of certain products have been amended. From medical devices to machinery, electrical equipment to construction products, anyone looking to sell one of these products on the market in the UK needs to be aware of these changes. There are differing regulations for Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and for Northern Ireland.

We would like to invite you to take part in this short survey which explores your awareness of the different regulations and clarifies what information you want to see from BSI to help you identify how Standards can support regulatory conformity.

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and all your responses will be held in the strictest confidence.

Please click here to take the survey.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards

Aymee Siddons
