AGMs, Conference and Networking Dinner 25 May 2023

In a similar format to last year, our 2023 BFPA and BFPDA AGMs will be held in the afternoon and followed by a networking dinner in the evening on Thursday 25 May 2023. Our venue is the excellent Scarman Building, Warwick Conferences, University of Warwick, Lakeside Village, Scarman Road, Coventry CV4 7SH

Featuring two key note speakers, our first guest speaker will be Richard Blackmore, Midlands Regional Director, of the CBI. Richard will make a presentation on the “Economic Outlook for the UK Manufacturing Sector” which will include an opportunity to ask questions.

Our second guest speaker this year will be Angela Lawlor, Managing Director, Marvelous Manufacturing who will talk on the subject of “Manufacturing: Inspiring the Next Generation”.

Starting with AGM registration from 1:30pm, the AGM and presentations will finish around 5pm, giving time to relax before evening drinks and a 3-course networking dinner from 7pm for those who can stay. The dinner will be held onsite in the evening, and onsite accommodation and breakfast is available.

Jack Semple of EAMA will support an after-dinner dialogue/Q and A session on the latest Government lobbying topics including UKCA and Skills and Training.
