BFPA Members Only Statistics

Membership of the BFPA allows access to the CETOP and world statistics which can be found on the BFPA website’s Members Only pages – a snapshot of the menu in these pages is shown below:

Latest CETOP Results

BFPA reports into the CETOP surveys and the results of these surveys are available to all our members via the Members Only pages of the website. Recent uploads to this area include the monthly survey results for March 2018 (see CETOP / ISC Monthly Market Surveys) and the Q4/17 results (see CETOP / ISC Quarterly State of Business Surveys). The Q4/17 results include a summary of each country’s national results for 2017 and forecasts by country for pneumatic and hydraulic sales and orders for 2018.

Apart from one country (out of 21 in total), all responding countries reported growth in 2017 with four (including the UK) reporting double digit growth in the year for hydraulics, and all are expecting at least some growth for hydraulics in 2018, with the mobile sector leading the way.

A similar picture emerges for pneumatics with all responding nations apart from one (not the same one!) reporting positive growth in 2017 and five countries recording double digit increases in shipments. The 2018 forecasts for pneumatics are generally positive although a few countries are anticipating static sales for 2018.
