Book before 30 June to take advantage of lower cost tickets for the BFPA’s International Conference on Managing Fluid and Lubricant Contamination 10-11 September 2018.

BFPA and the University of Bath, Centre for Power Transmission and Motion Control are organising an international conference on:

Managing Fluid and Lubricant Contamination

to be held at the Centre for Power Transmission and Motion Control, Bath, England 10-11 September 2018.

This conference will confirm the importance of minimising hydraulic fluid and lubricant contamination and how recent developments may be changing our appreciation of what constitutes ‘cleanliness’.

The principal themes of the conference are:

  • Contaminant formation
  • Varnish – an increasing problem in major applications
  • Developments in test methods for assessing fluid and lubricant cleanliness
  • Changes to the classification of cleanliness
  • The control of fluid cleanliness and contamination by air, water and particulates
  • Case studies of problems associated with cleanliness and contamination

A table-top exhibition of products related to these themes will be held adjacent to the conference hall.

This event will be of value to all end users that need to maintain clean systems; those responsible for fluid and lubricant maintenance, filtration, and condition monitoring in a wide range of applications, and many lubricant and hydraulic fluid professionals.

Early bird tickets are available until 30 June at a cost of £370 + VAT for non BFPA members and £320 + VAT for BFPA members. Tickets will still be available after 30 June at the higher price of £410 + VAT for non BFPA members and £355+ VAT for BFPA members.
