New Year message from Paul Cooke, Interim BFPA CEO

26 Jan 2022

Happy New Year to all of our valued members I hope you all are staying safe and well so far and I wish you and your businesses all the very best for 2022.

As your new Interim CEO, I am looking forward to working with you and leading our important British Fluid Power Association in these times of both opportunities and challenges.

As we move forward in 2022, and hopefully leave the COVID restrictions behind us, you can rely on the BFPA to support, promote and inform you as you navigate your businesses through the next 12 months.

Demands on us in industry due to Brexit, technology trends as well as international trading challenges mean that we must stick together as an Industry and be proactive so that we not only mitigate the challenges ahead but we strive to fully capture the opportunities.

We will be shortly launching our Strategic Road map which will be designed to ensure the BFPA adapts and moves forward alongside our members as a future orientated association that both supports and strengthens the position of Fluid Power as an important sector for modern Industry and manufacturing.
Additionally, as we move forward into 2022, our members are ready for re-engagement in terms of networking forums and events which are such an important element of the Association.

Please watch out for our promotion of planned events such as the Fluid Power & Systems Show in April and the AGM event in May,

I wish you all the best and I look forward to seeing you all in 2022

Paul Cooke
Interim CEO
