Remembering Wolfgang Moellers

BFPA is sorry to announce the passing of Wolfgang Moellers of Schwer Fittings in December 2021.

Wolfgang joined the sales team at Schwer Fittings in Germany in 1991 and was soon promoted to Export Manager. In that position he came to England in 1995 to aid with the setting up of Schwer Fittings Ltd.

Happy in England he decided to settle here and became the Managing Director of Schwer Fittings Ltd. Responsible for the successful growth of the company and the development of new product ranges and increased stock holdings, he soon became a well known figure within the industry.

Intelligent and articulate, a business man of integrity, straight dealing and openness, he was always willing to help.

Wolfgang’s health deteriorated and in December 2017 he took early retirement. Then confined to a wheelchair he built a new, more restricted life but never lost interest in Schwer Fittings Ltd and related industries.

His death was sudden and unexpected, although peaceful and pain free. He will be missed.
