New BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme Accreditations

BFPA is pleased to welcome a new member into the BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme in 2022: Ehrco Limited, and congratulates Hydraulics Offshore & Supplied Limited for passing “with flying colours”.
HOS, who has been a member for several years, recently successfully passed their latest detailed BFPA audit with “flying colours”. They were successfully able to demonstrate their adherence to all current legislation and show their commitment to hydraulic hose safety, they received no non-conformities.
Managing Director of HOS, Don Fenwick, was delighted with the results of the inspection, commenting: ‘Our whole team should be extremely proud of not only passing the inspection but also the comments given to us by the BFPA, we didn’t receive one non-conformity and this is testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees. By being part of the Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme, our customers can be assured that we are committed to hydraulic hose safety, our staff are competently trained, adhere to all current legislation and have a professional understanding of hose technology.’
Ehrco Limited, based in Dudley, also successfully passed a BFPA audit in December 2021 to become a member of the BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme and have now received their certificate of conformity. Bryan Leavesley, Managing Director, commented: “I consider this accreditation as an important recognition of Ehrco’s status by the BFPA. We are proud to be members of the Association and will continue to develop over the coming years.”
The BFPA Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme, which was established in 1995, is now the leading industry accreditation scheme for hose manufacturing, assembly, distribution and fitting. It sets a formal and credible standard for the assembly, storage and supply of hose across all sectors.
