BFPA and BFPDA 2020 AGMs

This years’ BFPA and BFPDA AGMs were held virtually (due to the Covid-19 crisis) on 27 August 2020 and attended by many members and guests.

The Presidency and Vice Presidency of the BFPA is normally a two-year term of office. Hans Waltl (PSI Global Ltd) therefore continues as BFPA President for a further year, with John Farmer (Flowtech Fluidpower plc) as Vice President. As well as the usual formalities required at any Annual General Meeting, the 2020 event saw four new members elected to the BFPA Board: Michael Abbott (Prevost UK Limited), Rebecca Galley (Hydroscand Limited), Andy Connell (Pirtek Birmingham) and Paul Bowden (Bosch Rexroth Limited).

BFPDA’s Chairmanship is also a two-year term of office and so Nigel Thomason (BPC-Ltd) continues as BFPDA Chairman and Andy Connell (Pirtek Birmingham, Redditch and Wolverhampton) continues as BFPDA Vice Chairman for another year. Three BFPDA Council members were re-elected for a further three-year term of office: Andrew Newell (Antech Hydraulics Limited), Keith Dickinson (Flowtechnology UK) and Paul Prouse (Rotec Hydraulics Limited).
